FUMC has been serving the people of West Dundee, IL since 1835.  Conveniently located on Main Street and directly across from Grafelman Park, we are at the heart of life and the many exciting events that take place in historic West Dundee. We are proud of our commitment to and active participation in the communities around us.

One of our greatest strengths is the love we have for one another and for all our neighbors. We strive to express this love through the tangible acts. We intentionally nurture a culture that welcomes, embraces, and includes all people and surrounds them with a community of love and support. We take seriously the mandate to work for justice for all God’s people but especially the most vulnerable and marginalized among us.

Our worship is lively and our care for one another is clearly evident. We enjoy a variety of music and messages enhanced by the latest technology and visual arts.

Worship and Sunday School for children and youth are at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.  After worship, we gather for Fellowship in the Fireside Room located through the doors on either side of the alter.

We have a professionally staffed nursery and we are a Safe Sanctuaries congregation.

Parking is available on Fourth Street and Washington Street. Limited parking is available in the church drive for accessibility and for families with young children only.

Pastor Wendy welcomes engagement with members of the community and the church and is eager to meet with you to discuss the many ministries and opportunities for engagement that we have to offer to you and your family.
