Mission Trips

For Adults

During June of 2019, a 9-person adult mission team traveled to Puerto Rico where they worked with the Iglesia Metodista de Puerto Rico and UMCOR to help with rebuilding after Hurricane Maria.

In 2020, we are planning to return to Tree of Life Ministry in Mission, South Dakota.  A Relief Agency on the Rosebud Reservation, Tree of Life serves several of the poorest counties in the United States.   A series of team meetings ahead of departure will prepare volunteers for the work and the experience. No construction skills are needed, only a willing heart. The only requirements are to be 18 or older, ready to work, and prepared to be transformed by the experience.

For Youth

Youth mission trips provide opportunities for students to demonstrate Jesus’ love in tangible ways.  Building and rehab projects, serving in senior care facilities, summer camp programs and food pantries are just some of the ways that our youth have served in our region and across the world.

We offer a Middle School Mission Trip of 3 to 5 days for students who have graduated 6th to 8th grade each June and a 7 to 10 day High School Mission Trip for those who have graduated 9th to 12th grades.  To learn more, come visit God’s Squad on Sunday evenings!
